郊庙歌辞是唐代官方重要的祭祀诗歌形式,长期以来被学者认为其毫无意义或者毫无价值,但实际上郊庙歌辞并非单纯的文学作品,不能仅仅拘泥于文学的视角。其作为特定历史阶段的产物,不仅体现了民众对天地神灵的崇拜与迷信,还显示出统治阶层与天地直接对话的独有权利,传递出统治者对民众祈求国泰民安、风调雨顺、战乱不生等美好诉求的国家回应,昭示着君主抚育、教化民众的职责,并且是君主在人神之间进行沟通与信息传递的特有载体。因此从宗教礼仪与政治制度史的角度来看郊庙歌辞有着极其深刻的内涵,直接体现出“受天明命,敷祐下土”这一君权天授的政治理念,代表民众表达出对美好未来的前瞻。
