杨庄滞洪区泄洪闸加固工程于1992年11月18日开工建设,1998年12月通过竣工验收。根据地质钻探资料,闸基主要持力层大都属中硬土层,但在高程56.00~54.50 m范围内夹有1.50~3.00 m厚软土层。闸基建基面高程56.50 m,距软土层顶面仅有0.50~2.00 m。软土层的存在及机械开挖闸基或超挖,使得软土上较薄的持力层变得更薄,严重影响地基的承载能力,且闸室及消力池结构直接坐在软基上。因此,为满足结构对闸基的要求,施工中采用降低水位及自重预压予以地基加固,提高地基强度。加固后的杨庄滞洪区泄洪闸工程至今正常应用。
