顺序控制器是六十年代末期出现的新技术，是实现生产过程自动化的一种较先进的控制系统。清华大学自动化系首届工农兵学员在毕业实践中，密切结合生产实际研制成功了两种顺序控制器，在生产中发挥了较大的作用。这对右倾翻案风的鼓吹者是一个有力的回击。 我们认为，一项新技术的推广，必须使操作工人不仅熟悉它的性能，懂得它的原理，学会使用。而且要掌握它的规律，能维修。为了尽快推广这一新技术，使它成为技术改造的有力工具，因而在讲座编写上采取由浅入深，通俗易懂的方式，力求使有关机械工人看得懂，用得上。 本讲座共分四讲，今年分四期讲完。
Sequence controller is a new technology emerged in the late sixties and a more advanced control system to automate the production process. Tsinghua University, Department of Automation, the first workers and peasants and soldiers in the graduation practice, in close connection with the actual production of the successful development of the two sequence controller, played a greater role in the production. This is a powerful blow back to the right-wing advocates. We believe that the promotion of a new technology must enable operators not only to be familiar with its performance, understand its principles and learn how to use it. And to grasp its laws, can repair. In order to promote this new technology as soon as possible so that it will become a powerful tool for technological transformation, we will adopt a simple and easy-to-understand approach to the preparation of lectures in an effort to make the relevant mechanics understandable and worthwhile. This lecture is divided into four parts, finished in four sessions this year.
