前言自从六十年代板块学说创立以来,虽还不够完善,但具有一定的生命力。许多国家的地质工作者,纷纷以板块学说分析地质现象,研究构造发展,探索成矿规律,说明了一些过去不易解释的地质问题。几年前尹赞勋等将板块学说介绍到国内后①②③,也引起我国地质工作者广泛的兴趣,有的用板块学说重新认识地质现象,修订大地构造的划分;有的用来解释古生物群的混生现象;有的用来探索地震发生的机制;有的用来寻找金属矿床。
Foreword Since the establishment of the theory of plate tectonics in the 1960s, though not perfect, it has certain vitality. In many countries, geologists have analyzed the geological phenomena with plate theory, studied the tectonic development and explored the metallogenic regularities, and illustrated some geological problems that were difficult to explain in the past. A few years ago, Yin Zanxun introduced the theory of plateau to China ①②③, which also aroused widespread interest of geologists in China. Some used plate theory to re-understand the geological phenomena and modify the division of the earth structure; some were used to explain the mixed phenomenon of paleontological groups Some are used to explore the mechanism of earthquake occurrence; some are used to search for metal deposits.
