How to improve the quality of English teaching and enhance students’ ability to use English is a topic that English teachers should explore. The article briefly describes the concept of research-based learning and the reasons for the implementation of research-based learning, and takes the mode of learning by student groups as an example to explore the significant role of research-based learning in improving the quality of English teaching.
