以史为镜,资政育人,党史工作意义很大。福建是老革命根据地,有光荣的革命传统,有可歌可泣的英雄模范人物,题材很多,内容丰富,是全国党史工作重要省份之一。福建省委对党史工作很重视,党史征集委员会和老同志对党史工作很关心,还有省委党校、厦大等大专院校的专家学者热心地为党史工作作贡献,做好党史工作基础较好,有利条件也很多。我在省委分管党史工作时突出过问参与或较认真地抓了几件事:
