一般说来成年人在学习英语时能意识到自己的目的和任务,他们大都具备一定程度的间接兴趣。但是成年人学外语毕竟已过了最佳期,记忆力稍差,而且他们多为业余学习者,时间和精力都有限。加之中、英文的语言结构和文化背景差异甚大,学生在学习中难免会产生畏难、厌烦的心理,久而久之,甚至有可能丧失学习信心。因此在英语教学中如何激发起学生学习的直接兴趣,是成年人英语教学中亟需解决的问题之一。文人结合教学实践,谈谈这方面的看法和做法。
In general, adults are aware of their goals and tasks as they learn English, and most of them have a degree of indirect interest.
