用双生苗品系APⅢ和APⅣ衍生的单生苗(APⅢ①、APⅣ①)和双生苗(APⅢ②、APⅣ②)植株与常规品系皖9024和02428组配成12个正反交组合,用不同AP编号互配成6个杂交组合,对18个组合的亲本及F_1、F_2和从其中的14个杂交组合F_2双生苗植株衍生的F_3株系的双生苗发生进行了观察。结果表明,APⅢ和APⅣ的双生苗特性是一种可遗传的隐性性状,但其遗传表达较为复杂,表现为从双生苗亲本中可衍生出单生苗和双生苗,而衍生的单生苗也可产生两种类型;从AP编号与常规品系杂交的F_2中重组获得的双生苗,在F_3表达程度随组合、株系而异,从不表达至高于双生苗亲本。对双生苗特性遗传复杂的原因进行了初步分析。
