剖割水仙,可增加其美感。但近年来我发现,剖割过的水仙没有整个栽的花香,而且花期也较短。经过探究得知,花期的长短和花香与不香,均跟水仙被割的创面大小及茎汁流失多少有关。那么,如何才能不剖割鳞茎或不失其汁液,而又使其叶美花更香呢?我的经验是:整个栽种,逐步剖割;先剖茎,后割叶、长一点割一点。自称为“局部诱割法”(见图一),意为边剖割边引诱其生长(此法对多数花卉植物的造型均能起到一定作用) Daffodils can be cut to increase their beauty.
