Objective To understand whether TB causes damage to the coronary arteries. Methods Japanese white rabbits were used as experimental animals and H37Rv was used as experimental strain. One group of rabbits received i.v. tuberculosis (107 / ml) intravenously after their immune function was damaged by cobalt-60 radiation. A group of rabbits was directly infected with tuberculosis bacilli . After the animal was dissected, the pathological sections of organs were stained with Z_N, HE, MCT, BCG immunohistochemistry and electron microscope. Results Mycobacterium tuberculosis disseminated with blood can reach any part of the heart and the formation of lesions, coronary lesions are also obvious damage. Immunocompromised people will lead to TB susceptibility and severity of the disease. Conclusion Mycobacterium tuberculosis can cause pathological damage of coronary artery.
