我厂高频淬火原来采用的淬火剂有自来水、乳化油、盐水和机油。不仅品种繁多,占用生产面积大,管理困难,而且存在以下问题: 1.中碳钢零件水淬往往硬度不均匀,一些形状复杂的零件还常常产生裂纹而报废。 2.水淬油冷虽然能减少开裂和变形,但零件锈蚀严重,工作条件差,劳动强度大。 3.乳化油淬火剂配制较难,使用中易变质,需经常更换,很不经济。 4.淬油零件表面不清洁。 5.一些要求局部淬火的零件(高碳钢和合金钢)不易达到技术要求。为解决上述问题,我们从1972年下半年开始决心寻找一种较好的淬火介质,通过近一年的反复试验,终于找到了一种较好的淬火介质——硝酸钠、
