自20世纪80年代以来,期刊编辑校对质量严重滑坡,编校错误多如牛毛,令人难以置信。期刊差错率居高不下原因很多,与监管机制的监督不力也有关系。长期以来,期刊管理部门不论从立法上还是在实践中都更重视期刊的内容而相对忽视期刊的编校质量,对编校不合格的刊物缺乏具体而严厉的处罚措施。为了全面提高期刊的编辑校对质量,期刊监管机制必须充分发挥它的管理职能。
Since the 1980s, it has been incredible that editors of proofing journals have suffered a serious decline in quality and mistakes in editing. The high error rate of periodicals is due to many reasons, which are also related to the poor supervision of regulatory mechanisms. For a long period of time, the periodical management department has paid more attention to the content of the periodicals than the legislation or in practice, and has neglected the compilation and editing quality of the periodicals. Therefore, the periodicals and administrative departments lacks specific and severe penalties for the periodicals that have not been edited. In order to improve the editing quality of journals, the periodical supervision mechanism must give full play to its management functions.
