人物简介张首晟,美国华裔科学家、斯坦福大学物理系讲座教授、清华大学高等研究院教授。因其对量子自旋霍尔效应和拓扑绝缘体的开创性研究,2010年获欧洲物理奖。2012年8月,荣获联合国教科文组织下属的国际理论物理学中心“狄拉克奖”——国际理论物理学领域的最高奖。
Character brief introduction Zhang Shousheng, American Chinese scientists, Stanford University Department of Physics Lecture Professor, Tsinghua University Institute of advanced professor. In 2010, he won the European Physics Prize for his groundbreaking research on quantum spin Hall effect and topological insulators. In August 2012, he was awarded the highest award by the International Center for Theoretical Physics under the UNESCO “Dirac Award” - International Theoretical Physics.
