茶树生命活动最活跃的部份—新梢,是建成茶树形态和构成茶叶产量的基础,是进行光合作用合成碳水化合物的主要器管。气温对茶树各组织中的糖和淀粉形成有明显影响,即直接影响茶树新梢生长速度。80年一月廿七日至二月十日,我县日平均气温下降到2℃,使分布在海拔600米以上的北坡茶园受冻,今春开园时间推迟15—20天,春茶产量和质量下降。
