Since chronic renal failure is associated with oxidative stress, this study hypothesized that EPO treatment can exacerbate this condition and promote hypertension. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in EPO-induced hypertension and the effects of superoxide dismutase (tempol)
