公开选拔领导干部是当前乃至今后一个时期干部人事制度改革的重点之一。现实中,由于有的干部对待公开选拔存在一些不正确甚或错误的认识,从而影响了公开选拔的质量。归纳起来,主要有“四怕”: 一怕不公正。有的干部认为选拔领导干部有“暗箱操作”现象,公开选择也是做样子,走形式,赶时髦,其实领导早已“内定”,自己参加也是给别人垫背。 二怕去竞争。有的干部平时不认真学习,自我感觉无竞争实力而“怕”竞争;有的干部习惯于跑关系、找门路而不愿去竞争;更有的干部缺乏远大志向,图安逸、图享受,认为自己干到这份上就不错,何必再自找
