1.森林孕育了生命 树木在4亿年前减少了大气中二氧化碳的含量,把地球变成了最适合人类居住的地方。但现在,由于化学工业品燃料增加了二氧化碳的排放量,使自然界的这一过程正在颠倒。 科学家们在对地球生态系统进行研究后指出,树木是创造我们今天丰富资源的真正能工巧匠。因此,据美国地理学会报告,人们应对滥伐森林现象和它对世界气候造成的影响引起注意。因为工厂和汽车不断向周围环境排放二氧化碳,破坏了树木对空气的净化作用。
1. Forests Bred for Life Trees reduced the atmospheric carbon dioxide 400 million years ago and made the planet the place most suitable for human habitation. Now, however, this process in nature is being reversed because of the increased emissions of carbon dioxide from chemical industrial fuels. After studying the earth’s ecosystems, scientists pointed out that trees are truly skilled craftsmen who create the rich resources of our day. Therefore, according to the report of the American Geographical Society, people should pay attention to the phenomenon of deforestation and its impact on the world climate. Because factories and cars continue to emit carbon dioxide to the surrounding environment, undermine the trees to purify the air.
