思想品德“有效教学”就是指思想品德教师按照教学活动的客观规律,以尽可能少的教学时间、精力和物力的投入,取得尽可能高的教学实效,从而实现特定的教育教学目标。随着我国新课程改革的实施和深入,初中阶段思想品德学科已在全国范围内使用依据新《思想品德课程标准》编写的《思想品德》教材,这极大地丰富了初中阶段思想品德教学资源,同时新思想品德教材也更关注中学生的知识、情感、价值观的同步发展,但在初中阶段思想品德学科课堂教学过程中仍然存在着传统教学模式的一些弊端,这严重制约着新课程改革的有效实施和思想品德教学的有效性。
