此仪器包括液压式微推进装置和微电极夹持与驱进装置两个部分。 用一长茎玻璃微电极,将其仔细地穿在电极驱进装置的不锈钢套管针内。把驱进装置固定在事先以立体定位仪埋植于动物颅骨的推进器底座上。旋转一个推进螺旋,使电极与套管针同时下推,穿透硬脑膜,停止旋纽,以液压方式推送微电极至记录部位。 此法应用玻璃微电极,对脑组织损伤较小,适用于慢性实验。 微电极驱进装置是固定在动物颅骨上的,记录时不需要使用立体定位仪,动物头部的微小移动不防碍记录。 用此仪器做慢性实验,效果满意。
The instrument includes a hydraulic micro-propulsion device and micro-electrode clamping and driving device in two parts. Using a long stem glass microelectrode, carefully weave it into the stainless steel trocar of the electrode driver. The driving device is fixed on the base of the thruster embedded in the animal’s skull with a stereotaxic instrument in advance. Rotate a propulsion screw to push the electrode down simultaneously with the trocar, through the dura, and stop the knob to hydraulically push the microelectrode to the recording site. This method uses glass microelectrode, less damage to brain tissue, suitable for chronic experiments. The micro-electrode driving device is fixed on the skull of an animal, and does not need to use a stereotaxic apparatus for recording. The tiny movement of the animal’s head does not hinder the recording. Chronic experiment with this instrument, the effect is satisfactory.
