据中国钢铁协会发布的最新数据,2013年1-8月份,我国大中型钢铁企业累计实现销售收入23954.34亿元,同比增长1.38%;实现利润总额80.87亿元,同比扭亏为盈。虽然从目前的数据看我国钢铁企业的经营开始出现好转,但产业利润率仍非常低,许多钢铁企业仍面临困境,且在短时间内仍将面临巨大挑战。因此,钢铁企业的转型升级必须加快实施,而多元化道路正是企业转型升级的一种战略选择。从国外先进钢铁企业,包括韩国浦项钢铁公司、日本新日铁住金公司和蒂森克虏伯集团的发展脉络看,无一是仅仅独守钢铁主业,而是在积极实施多元化战略。韩国浦项钢铁公司的多元化与其主业相关,从主业向纵深发展延伸,并与当代产业发展趋势紧密相连,具有较宽广的发展空间与良好的发展前景;新日铁住金公司的多元化产业派生于钢铁主业,其多元化业务模式采取母子公司的运行模式,将所有多元
According to the latest data released by China Iron and Steel Association, from January to August 2013, the sales revenue of large and medium-sized iron and steel enterprises in China totaled 2,395.434 billion yuan, up by 1.38% over the same period of last year; and the total profit was 8.087 billion yuan, turning losses into profits year-on-year. Although the current data shows that the operation of China’s iron and steel enterprises has started to turn around, the industry’s profit margin is still very low. Many steel companies are still facing difficulties and will still face enormous challenges in a short period of time. Therefore, the transformation and upgrading of steel enterprises must be accelerated, and the diversified road is a strategic choice for the transformation and upgrading of enterprises. From the perspective of the development of foreign advanced steel mills, including POSCO of Korea, Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation of Japan, and ThyssenKrupp Group, none of them is merely concentrating on the steel industry and is actively implementing a diversified strategy.
