布拉格光纤是由在径向折射率呈周期分布的多层介质圆环构成的一种光纤。由于多层的几何结构特征,布拉格光纤表现出与普通光纤不同的色散特性。引入等效折射率法(EIM)结合多层光波导理论来分析布拉格光纤,对于布拉格光纤的色散特性进行了深入的分析,得到了布拉格光纤色散的比例性质(scalingproperties),并举例说明利用波导色散与结构参量的关系,通过调整布拉格光纤的结构参量,灵活地设计其色散特性。
Bragg fiber is an optical fiber consisting of a multi-layer dielectric ring with a periodic distribution of refractive index in the radial direction. Due to the multi-layered geometry, Bragg fibers exhibit different dispersion characteristics than ordinary fibers. By introducing the equivalent refractive index (EIM) combined with multilayer optical waveguide theory to analyze Bragg fiber, the dispersion characteristics of Bragg fiber are analyzed in depth, and the scalingproperties of Bragg fiber dispersion are obtained. An example of using waveguide dispersion With the relationship between the structural parameters, the structural parameters of Bragg fiber can be adjusted flexibly to design the dispersion characteristics.
