图案一词,蒙古语叫“贺乌嘎拉吉”,即盘羊的意思。透过蒙古族民间文化的历史发展轨迹,可以看到民俗文化投射到民间艺术中的身影,即蒙古族民间图案的源头:图腾崇拜、生活实践和宗教信仰。从传统皮革制品上,可以管窥蒙古族装饰图案的文化内涵和艺术价值,以便于现代皮革工艺更好地借鉴、吸收和创新。
The word pattern, Mongolian called “Hewu Galaji”, that means sheep. Through the historical development of Mongolian folk culture, we can see that folk culture is projected into folk art, that is, the source of the Mongolian folk patterns: totem worship, life practice and religious beliefs. From the traditional leather products, we can provide a glimpse of the cultural connotation and artistic value of Mongolian decorative patterns in order to better learn, absorb and innovate the modern leather craft.
