光合作用的本质是植物把光能转变成化学能的过程。作物产量的高低,归根结底取决于作物能够把多少光能转变成化学能。农业上有许多技术措施都是通过调节作物的光能利用、光合作用进程及光合产物的分配而获得增产效果的。随着作物生态条件的改善直接影响光合效能的重要性越来越显著。在作物的生物产量中,只有5—10%的物质来自根部吸收的营养物质,而90一95%的物质来自作物光合作用的产物。足见单靠施肥来增加产量有很大的限制,而通过提高作物对光能利用率来增加产量,则潜力巨
The essence of photosynthesis is the process by which plants convert light energy into chemical energy. The level of crop yield, in the final analysis, depends on how much light the crop can convert into chemical energy. Many agricultural measures are to increase yield by regulating the utilization of light energy, photosynthesis and the distribution of photosynthetic products.
