云南素以民族歌舞闻名于世,而它的民族曲艺却少为人知。1998年秋季举行的全省民族曲艺调演,展示了这里丰富的民族民间曲艺品种。这次由省文化厅、省民委、省文联主办,省群艺馆承办的云南民族曲艺调演,共有14个地州市和武警、部队的16支代表队参加。14个民族27个曲种31个节目的调演,使10月的春城舞台显出一派奇花吐艳,异卉争芳的热烈景象。参演的节目,把各地区千百年流传至今,并为当地群众喜闻乐见的独特的民族说唱艺术做了充分的展示。
Yunnan is famous for its folk songs and dances, while its national folk art is less well known. In the autumn of 1998, the national folk art of folk quilts and festivals was performed, demonstrating the rich variety of folk folk art here.
