《思与言》作为台湾影响较大的社会科学刊物,从戒严到解严五十年的发展历程,是自由主义阵营与保守主义阵营的交会产物,突显了“五四”后台湾对启蒙理性精神的重视,同时兼顾了经验主义的实用性。以其为参照,学术之实践所隐含的哲学向度揭示了现代台湾哲学之发展轨迹。从中看到台湾哲学仍不免其贫困,但却有着崭新之可能,它指向生活世界的重新发现,以及历史社会总体、政治经济的全面深层反思。台湾哲学要想摆脱贫困,一方面要破除双重主奴意识的禁锢,确立主体身份;另一方面要在重视自家传统的基础上吸收西方文化。事实上,经由“存有的连续观”与“存有的断裂观”之对比,东西方哲学虽有不同,但仍有融和会通之可能。
As a social science publication with a great influence in Taiwan, “thinking and speaking” was the result of the fiftieth year of martial law and solvency, the product of the meeting between the liberal camp and the conservative camp, highlighting the Taiwan’s enlightenment after the May 4th Incident Rational spirit of attention, taking into account the practical experience of empiricism. Taking it as a reference, the philosophical orientation implied by academic practice reveals the development path of modern philosophy in Taiwan. It can be seen from this that Taiwan’s philosophy still can not help its poverty but has a completely new possibility. It points to the rediscovery of the life world, as well as a comprehensive and deep reflection on the overall history and society and on the political economy. To get rid of poverty, Taiwan’s philosophy must break the bondage of dual masters’ ideology and establish the identity of the main body. On the other hand, it must absorb Western culture on the basis of attaching importance to its own traditions. In fact, though there is a difference between Eastern and Western philosophies through the comparison between the “continuous concept” of “existence” and the “fragmented concept” of “existence”, there is still the possibility of convergence.
