目前,美国陆军在军一级编有一个独立反坦克导弹营,每个营下辖5个发射连,每个发射连下辖3～5个发射排,每个发射排下有4个发射班。每个发射班装备1辆 M996式“陶”导弹发射车,全连12～20辆,全营共60～100辆。在具体使用上,独立反坦克导弹营不作为整体单位直接投入作战,而是由军长视情况将所属分队向下配属到各师,师再将各反坦克导弹连分别配属到各旅或营。各机动战斗营的战斗支援连内还编有反坦克导弹排,装备数量不等的“陶”
