在现代湿法炼锌中,大多采用沸腾焙烧、连续浸出、净化、电积工艺流程。由于在工艺过程中需不断地加入稀硫酸以形成一定浓度的硫酸锌溶液(一般含酸为130～150克/升),这就要求参与这些反应的设备材料具有耐酸、耐磨、耐温等性能,同时为确保锌液质量以生产出优质锌锭,其杂质含量不应超过国家标准。因此,必须选用能满足生产工艺要求、又耐腐蚀造价低、寿命长的设备材料。
