本试验着重研究不同光照时间对春性、弱冬性、冬性等不同类型的萝卜品种花器形成的影响。试验表明。各品种经过低温阶段后，光周期１３小时就能使萝卜植株花器正常生长发育，若延长到每天１４小时以上的光照，对花器形成更为有利，但不是时间越长越好，每天１４小时和２４小时，对花器形成的促进作用几乎是相同的。春化条件要求严格的品种，对光照时间要求也严格，也就是，不仅每天要有一定的光照时数，而且还要一定的光照天数。从三叶期到现蕾，春性品种只需１５—２０天，弱冬性品种需２５—３０天，而冬性品种则需３０—４５天。从花芽分化到现蕾，冬性品种 ‘醉仙桃”需１２天、弱冬性品种只要４天．
