苏珊·桑塔格论文集《反对阐释》的中心议题,是对那些忽视艺术作品的形式,过度挖掘作品内容的阐释行为做出批判。桑塔格颠覆了传统内容说中二元对立的价值批评体系,进一步提出了对于艺术作品“新感受力”的追求,极具先锋色彩。然而,“反对阐释”的理念虽在一定程度上弥补了传统文学批评理论的不足,维持了艺术作品内容与形式之间的协调平衡,但仍具有矫枉过正的嫌疑和不容忽视的缺陷。
Susan Sontag’s collection of anti-interpretations focuses on critiquing those interpretations that neglect the form of artwork and over-excavate the content of the artwork. Sontag subverts the binary opposition system of value criticism in the traditional content theory and further proposes a vanguard pursuit of the “new sensibility” of works of art. However, the concept of “objection to interpretation” has, to a certain extent, made up for the deficiencies of the traditional literary criticism theory and maintained the balance between the content and form of the artwork, but it still has the suspicion of overcorrection and the defects that can not be ignored.
