Sudbury copper-nickel deposits have been discovered for a hundred years. However, there are still different laws on the genesis of this deposit. Most of them are considered as molten-derived deposits, but some belong to high-temperature hydrothermal deposits. The latter view is described in the article “Causes of the Sudbury copper-nickel deposit.” According to the relationship between the formation of the Sudbury copper-nickel ore and the nickel-bearing intrusive rock, and the structural, ore composition and sulfur isotopic composition of the ore, the authors believe that this deposit belongs to the high-temperature hydrothermal deposit. Raising awareness of the genesis of such deposits has some practical significance for census exploration of similar deposits. To this end, translated into text for comrades reference.
