我厂生产的平口钳,过去銑底盘的定位鍵槽时,一直是用普通的三面刃刀,在工具磨床上磨出准确尺寸,然后在銑床上试用合格后才能用于生产。一把銑刀,一次只能銑一两百个定位鍵槽,磨损以后,如是硬质合金焊接的盘銑刀则报废,如是锋钢锒齿的三面刃銑刀,则要重新调齿,重新刃磨。同时为了刃磨时达到精确尺寸,工具磨的师傅刃磨时要十分小心,要多次测量,三面刃错齿銑刀在测量时也是十分麻烦的,同时即使刃磨尺寸十分准确,但装在銑床上用时,往往会碰上刀杆弯曲,机床主轴跳动等原因,而使銑出的槽超差,因而要重新修整。这样给生产带来很大的麻烦。尤其给刀具生产供应带来很大压力。
