对本省５个甘薯推广品种茎尖菜用价值进行研究表明，甘薯茎尖３次采摘总量折亩产２６０～６１０ｋｇ。茎尖蛋白质含量与芹菜、菠菜、蕹菜相当，是苋菜和大白菜的１６～２倍；维生素Ｃ含量与蕹菜相当，比芹菜和大白菜高１倍以上。适用品种口感嫩滑，食味清香。品种间综合评价，以鲁薯７号和北京５５３为较好的菜用品种。甘薯采摘茎尖后，块根产量有所降低，但总经济效益明显提高。

After the sweet potato picking the shoot tip, the root yield decreased, but the total economic benefits improved significantly.
