随着全球经济的一体化发展,英语成为国际交流的纽带,英语全球化也既而成为一种趋势,引发了许多语言学家和社会学家的担忧,即:英语全球化及其所附带的西方文化和意识形态的普及,会引起并加剧世界语言的濒危和消失,破坏世界文化的多样性。本文针对这种担忧,分析了文化全球化的根源及其实质,并结合文化的相对独立性及其自我调节能力,解释了这种担忧的不必要性,并提出英语全球化背景下我们应有的积极态度和相应对策。
With the globalization of the global economy, English has become a bond of international exchange.
