本文旨在研究词块理论对于二语教学中语言输出的重要意义,尤其是对英语专业专业八级考试中写作部分的重要作用。作者从兰州某大学外国语学院英语专业专八考前辅导写作板块老师那里得到30篇英语专业大四学生所写的专八考试练习作文,然后对其进行分析。依照专八作文中老师给出的分数,将这些作文分成相应的三个等级,然后按照文中对词块的定义,挑选出这些专八作文中使用过的词块,再分别对这三个等级作文中使用过的词块数量进行统计。就“在以前的学习中,是否听说过或了解词块理论?”和“怎样看待老师在教学过程中强调某些词汇或句子并要求记忆的现象?”两个问题对这些作文的作者进行采访,总结出大四学生对于词块理论的理解和实际运用情况。结果发现,专八写作得分的高低与使用词块数量的多少,基本上成正相关。
