曾几何时,报纸、网络上不断充斥着某某地方的警察是黑势利的保护伞,某某地方的警察醉酒闹事,等等,不一而足。一时间,舆论沸沸,人们不禁要问:中国的警察到底怎麽了?!不可否认,中国的警察队伍中是混有个别败类,但更多的是勤勤恳恳、兢兢业业维护社会治安的优秀人民警察,有的甚至为保护人民的生命财产而失去自己年轻的生命。本文主人公就是一位在基层、在一线的警察,本刊拟通过对他描写,真实凸现出人民警察职业的平凡而神圣。
