关于混凝土道(路)面是否需要设胀缝,这个问题,国外一些国家主张,一般不设或少设。近年来,国内也开始试修了不设胀缝的道面,但从五十年代和六十年代修建的道面来看,不设胀缝或伸缩缝窄的道面,都出现了不少问题,有的还比较严重,影响使用,甚至造成翻修。为了避免道面热胀损坏问题的发生,适应混凝土道面和公路路面修建发展的需要,对此问题,很有探讨研究的必要。
