中国社会学自恢复重建以来,学科建设顺利推进,学科社会影响力不断提升,学科呈现出繁荣发展景象,这与新时期中国社会学的重要奠基人之一郑杭生先生为社会学学科重建和繁荣发展所做的贡献是分不开的。郑杭生先生秉持兼容并包的信念,致力于把中国社会学学科做大做强,倡导社会学与相近学科的沟通和合作,大力支持民族学、民俗学、人类学等相关学科的发展。
