The INSAT-1B communications and meteorological satellite was launched by the Challenger space shuttle on 31 August 1983. The satellite successfully operated on orbit for 5 years and 10 months. It provides extremely valuable flight data and describes the characteristics of a two-component propellant subsystem operating on orbital and geosynchronous orbit. Analytical models have been developed and calibrated to determine the characteristics of a 490N apogee and 22N attitude and orbit controlled thrusters to determine the effect of plume impact on the thrower speed reductions and to determine remaining propellant volume. It has been demonstrated that these flight-proven analytical models have the ability to predict and simulate flight characteristics with high accuracy. A brief description of the unified bipropellant subsystems and flight data will be given. Explain the features of the public system by comparing the flight data with the flight model.
