21世纪国际环境变化的特点是国际政治多级化、经济全球化、国际贸易自由化、市场竞争白热化。国际环境的变化对贸易的影响是:内部贸易显著增长,经济集团内部贸易量不断扩大,技术贸易发展迅速,进而推动航运产业结构的战略性调整与资产重组。国际航运是世界经济的重要组成部分,世界经济大国都把航运作为争夺国际市场、掌握国际贸易主动权、实现资本积累的重要竞争手段。因此,在新世纪到来之际,需要站在战略高度分析认识国际航运市场的宏观格局、市场竞争形式和未来发展模式,这是关系航运企业发展战略的重要问题。
The international environmental change in the 21st century is characterized by multi-level international politics, economic globalization, liberalization of international trade and intense market competition. The impact of changes in the international environment on trade is that the remarkable growth of internal trade, the continuous expansion of trade volume within economic groups and the rapid development of technology trade have promoted the strategic adjustment and reorganization of the shipping industry structure. International shipping is an important part of the world economy. All the major economies in the world regard shipping as an important competitive tool for fighting for the international market, grasping the initiative of international trade and realizing the accumulation of capital. Therefore, at the dawn of a new century, it is necessary to stand on the macroeconomic pattern of strategic analysis and understanding of the international shipping market, the form of market competition and the mode of future development. This is an important issue concerning the strategy for the development of shipping enterprises.
