Starting from the common metaphors of “Experience Horizon ”, this article explores three different types of intercultural hermeneutics, which respectively interpret the interpretation of hermeneutics as horizon expansion, horizon fusion and horizon sowing. It can be argued that these successive phases of hermeneutic history originated - but not strictly limited - to the pre-modern, modern and post-modern stages of globalization. Taking the remarkable opportunity of the meeting between Chinese and western languages and philosophy as an example, we discuss the three types of strengths and weaknesses of intercultural hermeneutics. Argument is that although the three types of hermeneutics are mutually exclusive from the theoretical point of view, as a means of being of contemporary interpretation, we rely on these three different hermeneutic practices and inevitably interact with them Symbiosis.
