二茂铁、烷基二茂铁和其它二茂铁衍生物已广泛用作固体复合推进剂的燃烧催化剂。为了改善它在储存期内向外部迁移的倾向,合成了含有二茂铁基团的新型官能团预聚物,并被命名为“Butacene”。它所显示出的燃速改进能力,至少等于那些常用的二茂铁衍生物。此外,使用Butacene作为预聚物生产出的复合推进剂,玻璃化温度仍无变化。这种预聚物能表现出明显的优势,是因为二茂铁基团被联接在预聚体上,不能迁移。这将使推进剂具育良好的老化性能。
Ferrocenes, alkyl ferrocenes and other ferrocene derivatives have been widely used as combustion catalysts for solid composite propellants. To improve its tendency to migrate to the exterior during storage, a novel functional group prepolymer containing ferrocene groups was synthesized and named “Butacene.” It shows an improvement in the burning rate, at least equal to those commonly used ferrocene derivatives. In addition, the use of Butacene as a prepolymer to produce a composite propellant has no change in the glass transition temperature. This prepolymer shows obvious advantages because the ferrocene groups are attached to the prepolymer and can not migrate. This will propel the propellant with good aging properties.
