北京BRT正式开通快半年了,其运营方北京畅达通客运股份有限公司对这半年的表现满意吗?“我们自己比较满意。”北京畅达通副总经理闫雅彬日前对记者表示,“我们现在的平均运行速度已经在每小时30公里以上,接近轨道交通的时速。这只是平均速度,如果是两站之间,没有红绿灯,峰值速度甚至能够达到每小时50~60公里。”闫雅彬表示,稳定的高速度源于道路建设上的保证。他认为正由于北京在道路规划和建设上把BRT道路采用物理隔离的方式划分出来成为专用道路,在空间上给予优先权,才使快速公交的速度优势得以充分展现。
