中央领导同志十分重视高层次人才开发工作,胡锦涛、温家宝、习近平等领导同志都曾就此发表讲话。胡锦涛总书记指出,党政人才、企业经营管理人才、专业技术人才是我国人才队伍的主体。要坚持三支队伍一起抓,着重培养造就大批适应改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的高层次人才,带动整个人才队伍建设,尽快形成一支门类齐全、梯次合理、素质优良、新老衔接、充分满足经济社会发展需要的宏大人才队伍。

General Secretary Hu Jintao pointed out: Party and government personnel, enterprise management personnel and professional and technical personnel are the mainstay of our contingent of talents. We must persist in grasping together the three teams and focus on cultivating a large number of high-level talents who adapt to the reform and opening up as well as the socialist modernization so as to bring about the construction of a contingent of qualified personnel as soon as possible to form a comprehensive, echelon rational, Economic and social development needs of the huge pool of qualified personnel.
