CBI模式(Content-based Instruction)整合了语言学习和内容学习,被视为一种有效的语言教学模式。本文介绍了CBI的含义、优点及常用的教学策略和方法,分析了我国目前高职高专专业英语教学中运用CBI模式的有利条件,并对如何应用CBI教学模式提高高职高专ESP专业英语教学质量及效果,从教材选用、师资培训、教学方法和策略及教学评估等方面进行了探讨。 CBI mode (Content-based Instruction) integrates language learning and content learning, is considered as an effective language teaching mode. This article introduces the meaning and advantages of CBI as well as the commonly used teaching strategies and methods. It analyzes the favorable conditions for using CBI in current professional English teaching in higher vocational colleges and how to improve the CBI teaching mode to improve ESP professional English Teaching quality and effectiveness, from the selection of teaching materials, teacher training, teaching methods and strategies and evaluation of teaching were discussed.
