首钢1~#、3~#、4~#高炉为高压式炉顶高炉,过去,炉顶在使用高压过程中,常因取压口堵塞而不能正常取压,至使料钟不能打开,原料不能入炉,被迫改成常压操作,造成减产。取压口堵塞后,不管是在炎热的夏日,还是在寒冬腊月,只要压力信号中断,维修工人就得抱着4米长钎急奔炉顶捅取压口,常年累月,天天如此,班班如此,体力劳动相当繁重。为了稳产高产、从繁重的体力劳动中解放出来,首钢总计控室炼铁仪表站多次对炉顶取压装置进行了探索、研究和改进,经不懈努力,克服一系列困难,终于获得成功。改进后的取压装置经过在三座高炉炉顶极端恶劣的环境下长期运行实践证明工作稳定可靠,平时无需维护,其取压效果完全满足现场工艺要求。
