我国的社会治安情况怎样?据1994年天津、山西、辽宁、广东、四川等15个省、市、自治区对当地1287个县、市的治安评估,社会治安好的有796个县、市,占61.85％;社会治安状况一般的387个县、市,占30.07％;社会治安状况差的104个县、市,占8.08％。就是说从全国看,治安的主流还是好的,治安形势总的还是可以控制的。但在实际生活中,大多数人却感到治安不好,认为从80年代以来社会治安呈不断恶化的趋势,普通人从来没像现在这样关心治安。许多人感到,社会上盗窃、诈骗、强奸、伤害、杀人等犯罪行为越来越多,随时都有可能发生在自己身边。这表明,社会治安在大局可以控制的同时,的确还存许多问题,一些问题已经相当严重了。

However, in real life, most people feel that law and order are not good, and they think that social order has been deteriorating since the 1980s. Ordinary people have never been so concerned about public order. Many people feel that there are more and more criminal acts such as theft, fraud, rape, injury and murder in society and may happen to them at any time. This shows that while public security is under the control of the overall situation, many problems still exist and some of the problems have become quite serious.
