死刑执行监督是我国宪法和法律赋予检察机关的重要职责,具体包括行刑前监督、行刑中监督和行刑后监督。对死刑执行进行检察监督,有利于检察机关切实履行法律监督职责;有利于贯彻“少杀、慎杀”的死刑政策;有利于保障死刑罪犯的合法权利;有利于维护刑事诉讼活动的公平正义。
The execution of death penalty supervision is an important duty conferred on procuratorial organs by our country’s constitution and laws, including supervision before execution, supervision during execution and supervision after execution.
