目的:了解实验室发现的2例中性粒细胞髓过氧化物酶(Myeloperoxidase,MPO)缺乏症,探讨MPO缺乏症的实验室诊断方法。方法:用Bayer公司的ADVIA120型血细胞分析仪进行全血细胞计数(CBC)及MPO活性指数(MPXI)的测定;外周血涂片瑞特染色和MPO细胞化学染色。结果:经ADVIA120血液学分析仪检测,发现2例MPO完全缺乏症的患者白细胞分布散点图异常,血涂片MPO细胞化学染色呈阴性,瑞特染色形态正常。结论:血细胞分析仪CBC检查、外周血涂片瑞特染色和MPO细胞化学染色是检测MPO缺乏症的重要指标。
OBJECTIVE: To understand the laboratory findings of 2 cases of myeloperoxidase (MPO) deficiency and to explore the laboratory diagnosis of MPO deficiency. Methods: The whole blood count (CBC) and MPO activity index (MPXI) were determined by Bayer’s ADVIA120 hematology analyzer. The peripheral blood smears were incubated with Reiter staining and MPO cytochemical staining. Results: The ADVIA120 hematology analyzer detected two cases of MPO complete deficiency in patients with abnormal scatter plot of white blood cells, blood smear MPO cells were negative staining, Reiter staining normal morphology. Conclusion: The CBC examination of hematology analyzer, the staining of peripheral blood smear and the staining of MPO cells are important indexes for detecting MPO deficiency.
