随着广西北部湾经济区开放开发上升为国家战略,以及党的十八大提出建设海洋强国的战略目标,钦州沿海开发迎来了千载难逢的战略机遇期。近年来,钦州市海洋局在该市市委、市政府及上级海洋部门的领导下,全力保障建大港与造新城并行的用海需求,持续推进茅尾海综合整治,加大海洋生态环境保护力度,努力实现“白海豚与大工业同在”的目标。钦州市海洋经济因此不断迈上新的台阶,迈向蓝色国土的步伐也在不断加快。
