基于大口径片状Nd∶YAG介质,采用双色膜技术设计并研制了高效率V形有源镜(AM)激光器。该激光器有四个模块,每个模块包含两片大口径Nd∶YAG片状介质。实验结果表明,四模块工作时,该激光器的脉冲输出能量为47 J,全系统效率达到了1.2%,斜率效率约1.3%,与理论预期值符合。同时利用该激光器的模块化设计特点,重点研究了单脉冲激光输出与模块数目的定标放大关系。结果表明,激光器的输出能量与模块数目基本呈线性关系,显示出该多模块有源镜激光器的定标放大优势,适合高平均功率运转。
Based on the large diameter flaky Nd:YAG media, a high efficiency V-shaped active mirror (AM) laser was designed and developed by using two-color film technology. The laser has four modules, each containing two large-diameter Nd: YAG sheet media. The experimental results show that the pulse output energy of the laser is 47 J, the system-wide efficiency reaches 1.2% and the slope efficiency is about 1.3% when the four modules are in operation, which is consistent with the theoretical expectation. At the same time, by using the modular design features of the laser, the relationship between the single pulse laser output and the number of modules is studied. The results show that the laser output power and the number of modules is basically linear, showing the multi-mode active mirror laser scaling amplification advantages for high average power operation.
